Two Years Around and Counting!
This week, we hit a monumental anniversary. On August 1, 2022, our HealingStrong community wrapped up our 10th Around the Word (God’s Word) in 80 Days. Want to know the beautiful story? Listen to Suzy’s message below!
Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble,
and he saved them from their distress.
He sent out his Word and healed them;
he rescued them from the grave.
Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love
and his wonderful deeds for mankind.

Over the summer, we’ve looked at what God’s Word says about prayer and how to incorporate new tools into our daily prayer practice, such as listening prayers, praying God’s Word, worship and prayer, and so much more. It has been a wonderful time of fellowship and growth for us all. Thank you to our Prayer Team for your leadership and service during this summer. Sarah, Nancianne, Sue, Lajuana, Susan, Cheryl, and Maren, thank you for this special summer series, but also…. thank you for spending time each week reading and praying for every prayer request that comes in from our community, taking time to respond personally to each one. May the Lord bless you all as you serve in this very foundational and important ministry area of HealingStrong!

Group Leader Highlight
Mya is a mom of 2 girls, married and living in Utah. God used an opportunity 6 years ago to pivot Mya’s course of living through her own mother’s stage 3 breast cancer diagnosis. Since then, she left her career field as a school teacher and dove full-time into health and wellness. She has received a health coaching certification and continues to share her convictions of the hope and healing found in prevention. Mya originally joined HealingStrong as an attendee at a local group, which then later turned into starting her very own group in northern Utah almost one year ago. Mya is a joy to all who know her. Her passion is helping young families live a wholistic lifestyle that incorporates principles that she practices and shares as part of her HealingStrong group meetings…rebuilding the body, renewing the soul, and refreshing the spirit in God’s Word.
A message from Mya:
“If you’re considering being a group leader, I would encourage you to take that step out in faith because God does not let anything go to waste. He uses everything to ultimately bring glory to Him, so don’t allow any insecurities the enemy might try and bring your way because God is sovereign and in control. You are the willing vessel that God will use to support others and bring the good news of what His blessed hope is all about.”
