1. Inspirational Volunteers:

Our HealingStrong community is truly remarkable. This year, our oldest volunteer turned 90 years old! As I look at the picture of Marlene above, I am filled with gratitude at the face of healing and the strength. Marlene Kutac, an 8-year metastatic breast cancer thriver, serves on our prayer team and has been part of our “Around the Word in 80 Days” program. She is a true blessing to our community. Healing and Serving Strong!

At 90 years old, I am blessed with a long life and a legacy of faith passed down from my grandmother. Throughout the years, God has always been there for me, providing support and guidance even when I didn’t realize it. Being part of Bible studies and the “Around the Word” community has been a source of strength and inspiration, especially during my battle with metastatic, triple negative breast cancer. The encouragement and faith shared by others have been instrumental in my physical, mental, and spiritual healing. Through HealingStrong, I have found a way to give back and offer hope to others facing similar challenges. 2. Coast to Coast Healing Action:

The majority of our Group Leaders are based in the United States, with 15% of our groups meeting globally. Our community groups meet in diverse settings such as churches, homes, online, in-person, and when the weather permits, outdoors. These dedicated Group Leaders actively engage in local community events, spreading hope and helpful healing information to all they encounter. The HealingStrong home office provides essential resources and support, including an online library and login portal with educational materials, training, curriculum, and mentorship. The profound impact of HealingStrong in action is evident in the transformative experiences reported to us by participants. Healing is happening coast to coast and beyond.

Curious about the activities in the groups? Apart from going through the curriculum and lessons, they also enjoy various group-led activities, like field trips and special speakers. 4. Community Supported Growth and Outcome Data:

HealingStrong exists and operates because of the people who value our mission and give time, talents and treasures. This year, we have grown 49%. The people we get the privilege to support come to HealingStrong because they want to heal from, or prevent cancer and other diseases. They value our community approach, our partnerships and resources. We facilitate groups with empathy, and help participants gain wisdom with understanding, offer valuable resources, and encourage healing with great perseverance and purpose. We know healing is always possible, no matter the prognosis. Many of our group leaders testify with their own personal stories to that fact. We could not do HealingStrong without the favor and grace of God, and our community who come alongside of us to support our mission and purpose. Thank you for all who have given and continue to give generously.
