A Message from our Founder:
On August 1, 2020, HealingStrong put the exclamation point on what we offer to our community, and it truly sets us apart from any other non-profit group around the world, and has yielded great benefit for those who are part of it. We added the final piece, the missing link, to our arsenal that helps people to heal.
God gave us a game plan…a “curriculum of sorts” to live life. It covers everything we could ever wonder about. It is not only informative, it is transformative. Yet, so many of us have never read it from cover to cover. If I started a book and never finished it, I would never truly understand the author’s full purpose and meaning to the message.
I know many reading this now are wondering what does this have to do with healing? It has everything to do with it.
I read something this week that I wanted to share with you. My Dad’s pastor, Dr. Greg Ammons, wrote this about the Bible:
…With God’s Word, the universe and world were formed. With just His Word, the winds and waves on the Sea of Galilee submitted. With just His Word, death obeyed and Lazarus came forth. With just His Word, demons shrieked. With just His Word, the soldiers were blown backward when they came to arrest Him in the Garden of Gethsemane (John 18:4-6).
The Bible is God’s Word today. It contains the same power that created the universe, made the winds and waves and death obey, and will vaporize nations at the Second Coming. Wow, with a word that powerful available to us, why do we ignore it? Why would we go days without appropriating its power? Why on earth would we want to question it and then re-define it to agree with what we want? It makes no sense.
Our God paved a way for us, left His Word for us, and deposits His Spirit in us through Salvation in Jesus, to show us HIS way (in sickness and in health). He didn’t leave us to go at this alone. His design comes together very clearly in His Word, the totality of His Word…not just verses of the day.
HealingStrong values healing of the whole person. Our actions reflect our desire to help lead you to a community that is equipped with truths in how to heal your body and stay healthy, but also, how to release the burdens of emotional trauma and unforgiveness, and connect with the God who has a plan and a purpose in everything He does. We believe the Bible holds the Truths to the keys of life. Why would we not read this together in community? That’s who we are!
One of my favorite verses in all of scripture is found in
2 Timothy 3:16-17: All Scripture is inspired by God and beneficial for teaching, for rebuke, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man [or woman] of God may be fully capable, equipped for every good work.
