Dear HealingStrong Community,
I am filled with deep gratitude for each and every one of you, and I’m thrilled to share an update with you. It has become a cherished tradition that Giving Tuesday marks the beginning of our end-of-year campaign, providing us with the confidence to plan for our program needs in 2025. This week, during Giving Tuesday, our Year-End Giving Campaign was launched, and the response from our donors was truly remarkable, with a generous total of $14,500 raised on that day. To all of you, I extend a heartfelt Thank You for your contributions, your support, your prayers, and your unwavering belief in us. Reflecting on 2024, one thing is abundantly clear — HealingStrong is able to fulfill its mission because of our incredible community, and above all, because of God’s grace and provision. Thank you all so much for standing alongside us in this journey. To our Group Leaders, you are the backbone of our mission to bring hope and health to tens of thousands of individuals each year through our local community groups. If you have not yet connected with these remarkable volunteers who lead groups in their own communities or online, I encourage you to explore our group directory. As we approach the final stretch of the 2024 program year, we are steadfast in our determination to complete the work we have set out to do. There is no time for weariness, as cancer does not pause. In fact, our program requests and attendance have increased by 49% this year!
