Dear HealingStrong family,
I hope all of you had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend, celebrating family and friends, and remembering today, those who lost their lives for our freedom! That is a sacrifice we should never forget.

Now, for our special testimony Tuesdays! Meet Cheryl Collins. Cheryl has done life with me and my family for many years. She is an active military veteran, and has supported HealingStrong from the very start. My heart came to love her deeply when my mother passed away. Before digital photos were a thing, we had to scan photos into the computer and edit it into a video. Cheryl, who worked with my husband at the time and barely knew me – offered to spend one full night scanning pictures for my mother’s funeral video, so Jeff could edit it. Who would do that? Cheryl Collins!
She has been there in encouragement, challenged my faith like iron sharpens iron, and prayed with me through the years – often showing up at my doorstep to encourage me in times of frustration or despair. She has been one of those anchors in my life. She is an integral part of our HealingStrong team, as co-writer and facilitator of the HEAL Bible Study, each Monday morning, she is there to encourage us to understand God’s Heart in Healing.
I want you to share with you the back story of how God has used Cheryl’s own journey to healing and wholeness, and how it has impacted thousands of people through the HEAL Bible Study. For God’s glory, and His fame is Cheryl’s reason for sharing with others. As she says above…her story is a true beauty from ashes!
Sometimes when things seem so hard, and the road ahead looks bleak, when our pain and suffering is difficult, and life just doesn’t make sense, we can come to a God who hears our cries. He sees us. He is our creator and Healer. His plans are best. In these crazy times of loss and suffering, I hope I can remind you that you are not forgotten and God really cares about you and your healing. He will guide your path. There are no coincidences!
God’s Word is alive and active. Only He can create beauty from the ashes.
“The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me,
because the Lord has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives
and release from darkness for the prisoners,
to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor
and the day of vengeance of our God,
to comfort all who mourn,
and provide for those who grieve in Zion—
to bestow on them a crown of beauty
instead of ashes,
the oil of joy
instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise

For our members this month, we interviewed Dr. Patrick Vickers who is an expert on the Gerson Therapy. Dr. Vickers answered many questions, but his presentation was well-prepared and lays out WHY the Gerson Therapy is so effective in healing cancer or other diseases. I personally did the Gerson therapy and was reminded again how understanding impacts success.
We were all mesmerized with the history behind the Gerson Therapy, the man who founded it, the SCIENCE that supports it and WHY this therapy WORKS. It’s such an important video that I wanted to share it with all of you. LOCAL GROUP MEETINGS: Check the Map for your local group leaders and make a connection via email. These groups teach holistic methods to heal and stay strong.
