With deep love and gratitude, we honor the life and legacy of Denise Giovinazzo, a cherished HealingStrong Group Leader whose unwavering faith, compassion, and joy touched countless lives.
Denise led our community with a heart full of grace — always pointing others toward hope, healing, and the power of faith. Through her own journey, she became a light for those walking through darkness facing this terrible disease, and encouraged countless people in HealingStrong to keep living, loving and sharing their own stories with others. She was an educator and championed a lifestyle of wellness in body, soul and spirit. Her kindness, encouragement, and steadfast belief in God’s goodness inspired all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Denise’s legacy lives on in the countless lives she encouraged, the hope she shared, and the love she poured into our HealingStrong family. Though she is deeply missed, her spirit continues to shine brightly through the community she so faithfully served.
We join in lifting up the family in prayer that Denise so greatly loved.
Her faith was her foundation, her love was her gift, and her hope lives on in this community that will miss her deeply. Thank you, Denise, for giving so much of yourself to help others.
— The HealingStrong Community

Denise was part of our Around the Word Project and it greatly impacted all of us to be part of this incredible Bible reading. It went on for 5 years and Denise was part of it from the very beginning. Just recently, the Bible App partnered with HealingStrong to offer the recordings to the public. You can download the Healing Around the Word here, and as you listen in, you will be blessed to hear Denise’ voice throughout the readings of God’s Word, or at the ending with a prayer. She would love knowing you downloaded the readings and read through scriptures together.

The family asks that you wear bright colors. Her favorite color was purple, and her favorite number: 22!
Denise Lynn Giovinazzo (Vignaux), 65, of Allen, TX passed away peacefully and surrounded by her husband and children, on the evening of Sunday, November 9. Denise was born on June 22, 1960 in Kittery, Maine to Theodore Albert Vignaux and Sandra JoAnn Lewis. She is preceded in death by her father, Theodore; mother, Sandy; stepmother, Joyce; and grand-son, Kalo. She is survived by her husband, Steven; her brothers, T.J. and Mark; her children, Freddie, Ryan, and Shannon (Grant); her stepchildren, Alex, Brianna (Armando), and Nathan; her grandchildren, Blaze, Skylar, Brady, Juniper and Camilla, and countless other friends and family who benefitted from the magnificence of her kindness. Denise spent years in the corporate world providing for her family, and then she courageously stepped away to pursue her true calling in massage therapy, specializing in lymphatic drainage. A lifelong learner, she studied under renowned experts and founded her own practice, Blazingsky Bodyworks— named in honor of her first two grandchildren. Through her work, she brought healing and hope to many, including offering free massages to cancer patients at oncology centers, providing comfort and peace during their most difficult journeys. She was grateful for her Healing Strong community and volunteered with them to continue their mission of connecting, educating, and supporting those facing cancer and other diseases.
Denise radiated strength and unwavering positivity, always finding light in the darkest moments and making space for others to feel its warmth, too. Her daily mantra was simple yet profound: How can I help?—and she lived it with grace, compassion, and boundless generosity.
In lieu of flowers, Denise asked that donations be made to Healing Strong.
