We are about creating opportunities to connect through our local HealingStrong™ groups – ending isolation, building community, and offering holistic solutions that empower you to heal and stay strong.

MISSION STATEMENT AND PURPOSE

Mission Statement: Our mission is to connect, support, and educate individuals facing cancer and other diseases with holistic, evidence-based, non-toxic therapies through empowering community groups.

Purpose: To create community, encourage education, and explore holistic methods for healing and staying strong.  We are a faith-based community and desire to lift up the name of God because we believe that He is the one who saves, heals, loves, and cares immeasurably for each of us. Healing is a very personal faith journey, and true healing leads to wholeness. Learning to listen and respond to the voice of God through His word is essential.  So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Romans:10:17

How:  HealingStrong offers many opportunities that support individuals on a healing journey or desire to prevent disease.  One can join a local HealingStrong group.  If there is not one in your community, consider starting one today.  Join our online H.E.A.L. Bible study and discussion today.  While this is not an actual HealingStrong Group, it is an opportunity to learn more about God’s heart in healing by reading His word. You will be encouraged by others, many on their own healing journeys.

Who: HealingStrong is anchored by a very small staff, and a dedicated team of servant volunteers including Board Members, Advisory Team Members, Regional Group Leaders, Prayer Team, and a network of volunteer thrivers, practitioners and caregivers who lead HealingStrong Groups.

HealingStrong Groups:  HealingStrong Groups are free to the public and are led by individuals who volunteer their time, talents and treasures.  Meeting in a variety of locations such as churches, community centers, libraries, restaurants, and homes, the leaders are provided with a curriculum by HealingStrong that offers information on healing principles of body and soul, focusing on botannical rich food and nutrients, supplementation, detoxification, dental health, emotional health, and spiritual health that is rooted in the word of God. Our network of Group Leaders have completed a registration process, affirming HealingStrong’s core values and are committed to stand by the vision and mission of HealingStrong. See more information about our groups here.

OUR FUTURE

Suzy Griswold, Founder of HealingStrong discusses the organization and personal healing principles with stage 4 breast cancer thriver and Thrive Beyond Cancer’s Host, Tekquiree Spencer.

Our vision to impact change is achievable when we work together for a common goal.  Over the years, HealingStrong has brought together some of the most committed pioneers in natural health to share a message of hope and healing. We are a grassroots change-agent of community groups empowered by volunteers all around the world.  With more then 1,000 people meeting each month in HealingStrong Groups, our vision today is exponential growth of this network of true heroes, stepping out in faith, sharing their stories of hope and healing with others in their community.

We want to support HealingStrong Groups meeting in cities and states around the United States, Canada and beyond. Our desire is for people to gain hope and healing truths – body, soul and spirit that will support their healing journey.

“‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty.” – Zechariah 4:6

Disclaimer

We have learned that our doctors are limited by the American Medical Association and Federal Drug Administration of what they can do to treat cancer. As a matter of fact, treatment of cancer in the U.S. by medical doctors is accomplished in one of three ways: surgery, radiation or chemotherapy. Anything else may be subject to a lawsuit and even loss of license. So, we first want to say – our goal is not to put down the medical establishment. No. Many medical conditions which would have been a death sentence 50 years ago are now easily cured with the advancements in medicine. However, while these advancements have made significant impact on other diseases and health problems, cancer is different. We are here to tell you what we have learned in our own journey to healing that was not readily available to us in our doctor’s offices. We want you to be empowered when you are making decisions about how best to treat YOUR body. HealingStrong™ is not licensed to provide medical advice, nor should it be a substitute for medical advice. This site is an education and learning site only. The information presented has not been approved by the FDA, AMA or any Federal or State agency. While you should consult a licensed, qualified medical physician for any issues concerning your health, we encourage you to also be a well-informed self advocate. In the end, the route you choose to heal is your choice. Heal strong!
