Upon waking...
● Drink a cup of warm water with the juice of ½ a lemon (you can add a small amount of raw honey if needed for taste)
● Turn on your diffuser and use some healing essential oils (such as Frankincense)
● Play some upbeat music

⛸️Following his mother’s passing and his own survival of stage 3 testicular cancer, Hamilton launched the Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation (Cancer Alliance for Research, Education and Survivorship) in 2014, with a mission to improve cancer patient survivorship by supporting world class cancer research and the highest quality patient treatment and care. The same year, he founded the Scott Hamilton Skating Academy, in partnership with the NHL’s Nashville Predators, at Ford Ice Centers in Antioch, Bellevue and Clarksville, TN, to offer students programs to help them fall in love with ice skating.

We have groups that meet all over the United States and internationally, and we are looking for individuals willing to take a leap of faith with or without a friend to lead and host a HealingStrong cancer support group in your area. You can offer your group to meet in-person or online and we give you ALL the needed materials to run your group.
👥You do not do this alone. You are FULLY supported by a mentor team, a Small Group Coordinator, you`ll have a login area full of webinars, curriculum, resources and materials, and monthly training calls.

By stepping up to be a Group Leader, you would be providing a possible lifeline to those facing cancer, chronic Illness or even those wanting to live for prevention and make changes in their own lives. The need is always growing to have groups meeting in new areas. The above list are not the only areas we`d love to see covered, but areas we do not currently have any groups.
⛸️ SCOTT HAMILTON
...is an Olympic Champion, cancer survivor, television broadcaster, motivational speaker, author, husband/father and eternal optimist! During his figure skating career, Hamilton’s list of achievements includes his Olympic gold medal, over 70 titles, awards, and honors. In 1990, Hamilton was inducted into the United States Olympic Hall of Fame and in that same year, he became a member of the World Figure Skating Hall of Fame.
Listen to Scott share about his upbringing, health, skating and how JOY is a choice (something we all agree here at HealingStrong is crucial to healing - joy, laughter, a positive attitude, and so on).
