Calling all 2013 HealingStrong Conference Attendees. Can you believe it has been almost 4 weeks since we were together for our first ever HealingStrong Conference and Retreat at the Lodge at Simpsonwood in Atlanta, Georgia? With a sold out, full house of almost 200 people seeking information on nutritional based therapies to support healing, we enjoyed a weekend of supportive education, tools for empowerment and encouragement. Some of the most respected practitioners, researchers, and cancer thrivers shared essentials for each of us to continue on a journey to heal strong. We have heard from so many of you that your lives will forever be touched because of the love and support you experienced at HealingStrong. We are so thankful you shared your weekend with us. Can I just say — WE will never be the same.
On our last day together, Rich Richardson from Red Drop donated a juicer and we gave it to our AMAZING EMCEE, Chris Wark. In keeping with his generous, giving self — he turned it around and said — “We’ll do a give-away for our HealingStrong conference participants.” Well, I heard from Chris last week and he is ready to send it the lucky winner! (He will share a video with the name of the winner who will be randomly selected from those who participated in the HealingStrong Conference and Retreat this last month.) If you want to know what participant wins, please sign up for Chris’ very popular blog, full of wonderful testimonies and great videos (some of you were at the Conference (David Lingle, Ann Cooper, Cortney Campbell, and others…) You don’t want to miss the videos Chris has posted on his website, nor do you want to miss it when he posts THE VIDEO OF THE WINNER!!! Be sure to sign up today to receive his updates by going here.
Since our conference, several of you are interested in starting up support groups in your area, many have reached out and further connected with some of our speakers (Dr. Linda Isaacs, Dr. Veronique Desaulniers, Dr. Judy Seeger, Robert Scott Bell, Ty Bollinger, Cherie and Fr. John Calbom, Chris Wark, Joan Hatrak, Dr. Kate Cirillo, Wendy Hood, Gil Montoya, and Cortney Campbell ) and continue to be empowered in your journey to heal strong. Many of you have reported your interest in future events and some are interested in doing your very own conference and retreat. Some of you are gathering information on how to start your own blogs, and take the hope in healing to others who need it. Our team’s desire from the beginning is that you would take what you learn, implement what you can, and share it with others — pay it forward…share your amazing stories of healing with others who need hope. For those who came and are in the throws of your own healing, please remember to keep the focus on yourself. Dig in — COMMIT, and HEAL STRONG. When you are ready — then, make it count. Your healing is for a greater purpose!
If there is anything we can ever do for you, please don’t hesitate to connect with our team. Please keep in touch and enjoy some of the pics from the event!
So Much Love and Gratitude,

time of laughter and getting to know one another.
Amazing food (with Norman and Barbara Griswold)
Thank you to our Kitchen Angel Coordinator: Sandra Campbell and also to Bill McCleish, along with
all of the volunteers who helped make Friday night meal and time together so special.
Our Volunteer, Dennis Hood passing out yummies for the salad bar on Saturday at lunch.
John D. sharing his Good News Report on Sunday. Lives touched! He and his brother, Alan, came all the way to
Georgia from Boston!
Dr. Linda Isaacs – Keynote on Saturday morning. Powerful!
Could not have set the tone any better for the rest of the weekend!
Our Amazing Conference Team: Gil and Judy Montoya, Sandra Campbell, Cortney and Kevin Campbell,
Jeff and Suzy Griswold, Billy Echols, Dr. Kate Cirillo (See the juicer in the background!) We didn’t want
the weekend to end.
Time of blessing! Showering our participants with gifts. Thank you to our sponsors and those who sent items to share with everyone.
Individuals from across the country sent so many special things for each participant: handmade soaps, ribbon and pottery crosses, a daily devotion (Jesus Today),
and Homegrown Health Joni Abbott sent Muscadine samples. So many things were given away — too many to list. Thanks to everyone.
Special evening of worship, praise and prayer time – Night of Worship (with Jeff Griswold and Tim Johnson)
During our night of worship, we had a wonderful presentation by Cherie Calbom and Fr. John Calbom on the power of forgiveness in healing!

Love this pic — BOTH of these amazing dudes are cancer thrivers and definitely LIVE MORE. Chris Wark (Stage 3 colon cancer)
with team member, Gil Montoya (stage 4 kidney) – both shared their stories of healing using nutritional protocols
(Chris – modified Gerson approach, Gil – Dr. Linda Isaacs/Dr. Nicholas Gonzales)
Breakout Sessions: Dr. Kate Cirillo, Dr. Judy Seeger, Dr. Veronique Desaulniers, Joan Hatrak and moderator,
Charyle Gandee. We had 4 breakout sessions with cancer thrivers sharing their stories and practitioners
available to help answer questions. Small group participation was one of the highlights.
One last shout out and thank you to the sponsors who helped make the weekend possible! Thank you again!
