One of the things that really stood out to me was how people were always falling at Jesus feet. The demoniac, Jairus, The woman with the issue of blood. When was the last time I fell at his feet. 😢 The other thing is His compassion to reach the one person. Though the water was raging Jesus knew someone on the other side of the lake needed deliverance. He went to the isolated places to minister to the one. Just thinking about how important numbers sometimes become to me. Had our meeting last night. Had a guest speaker and wanted to make sure there were a lot of people there. There ended up being a handful of women who were really blessed. When did numbers become so important to me.😔 Jesus also never complained. His heart of compassion for people overshadowed any physical tiredness or wariness he must’ve felt. God give me a heart like this!❤️

Great point about numbers! It’s amazing the work God can do just one on one sometimes. I think we sometimes feel better about ourselves when we have a large group meeting or many people liking something on our social media sites but in reality, most of our ministry opportunities are one on one. That should be the most important number, one!

Oh my goodness this is so good. Thank you for sharing these treasures. I love that Jesus cares about the 1… how we should posture ourselves also. If only one shows up to our meetings or an event then that one needs Him! The need to persevere is great and only God can lift us. Standing on His word with you! So good.
